The famous Woodhall Spa course in the UK has upgraded its groundscare fleet. The course, home to the English Golf Union as well as the National Golf Centre has acquired a new heavy-duty Workman utility vehicle as well as four new mowers featuring Toro’s Dual Point Adjustment (DPA) cutting units.

Courses manager Sam Rhodes said: “We bought two Greensmaster 3250-Ds and two Reelmaster 5610-Ds mowers because we wanted the most up-to-date models with the new cutting units.”

Toro’s DPA units were introduced into the UK golf market by distributor Lely in 2004. The firm says DPA blades hold a sharp edge for longer, ensuring that each blade of grass is cleanly cut – not torn – to keep the sward green and healthy.”
