Airfield to links transformation complete
German architect Rolf-Stephan Hansen has finished the build of the Budersand golf course on the island of Sylt, close to the country's border with Denmark. The site, previously an airfield, has been stripped of the concrete buildings and the underlying sand has been shaped back into the dune formations that would have existed previously. The course is slated to open shortly.
