Albanese & Lutzke breaks ground at Santee Sioux Golf Club

Ground has been broken at the new 18-hole Santee Sioux Golf Club at the Ohiya Resort in Nebraska, US.

The Albanese & Lutzke golf course architecture firm is overseeing the project, and the construction team is currently at the rough shaping stage as the course begins to develop.

Part of the Santee Sioux Nation, a native Indian reservation in north-eastern Nebraska, many of the the course’s features allude to the tribal heritage and history of the area.

Paul Albanese and Chris Lutzke’s firm has previously worked at the Teeth of the Dog course and the Links course at Casa de Campo in Dominican Republic, in a design capacity at Sweetgrass Golf Club in Harris, Michigan, and as construction managers at the Pete Dye Course at French Lick, Indiana.
