Architect Blasi forms own practice

Former Robert Trent Jones II architect Jay Blasi has established his own firm in Los Gatos, California.

Jay Blasi Design already has three projects underway in the San Francisco Bay Area; a bunker renovation at The Bridges, consulting for Palo Alto Hills and restoration work on Sharp Park, the city's Alister MacKenzie-designed municipal course.

Blasi will also be working as project architect at a major renovation of SentryWorld in Stevens Point, in his home state of Wisconsin. He will work alongside the RTJII firm, SentryWorld’s original designer.

During his 11 years with Robert Trent Jones Jr, Blasi was perhaps best known for his work on the Chambers Bay layout near Seattle. He also served as project architect on Sanford University’s innovative practice facility and the new layout at the Patriot Golf Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
