Bobby Cupp Jr oversees three-hole redesign at Hawk’s Landing

Bobby Cupp Jr has overseen a three-hole redesign project at Hawk’s Landing Golf Club, which is located at the Orlando World Center Marriott in Florida.

The course was originally designed by Joe Lee in 1986 and was revamped by Cupp Jr in 1998. Water features on 15 of the 18 holes.

For the recent redesign project, three holes were completely rebuilt, including the eighteenth, which is now a 204-yard par three with an island green. “The new eighteenth hole will be a very memorable highlight and challenge all players to hit their best shot to finish their day on the course,” said Chris Jones, director of golf at Hawk’s Landing.

The renovation is part of a multi-year plan that has included a bunker project with Capillary Concrete liners and converting all greens to Diamond Zoysia.
