Carrick approaching completion at Loch Lomond

Construction of De Vere Hotels' new Carrick course on the banks of Loch Lomond is expected to be finished during August. "We had the last six holes to build this year," said Nigel Wyatt of contractor MJ Abbott.Work to complete the project includes the installation of cycle paths, timber board walks and maintenance tracks. "The southern section of the site, which was finished last year, has continued to grow in well and from the middle of May has been in play for residents only," said director of golf Stewart Smith.
