Colossal indoor golf centre in the pipeline

The Indoor Golf Arena, the world's largest indoor golf centre, is expected to be open in the Netherlands by 2010, with a number of local councils showing interest. The planned arena has also been designated to become the centre of excellence for golf in The Netherlands, with PGA Europe supporting the initiative.

The Indoor Golf Arena, developed by the Dutch enterprise Indoor Golf Project, incorporates 14,000 sq m of artificial grass golf practice facilities by Southwest Greens, designed by Nicklaus Design. The arena will feature a wide range of puttingand chipping greens, bunkers and water hazards, as well as 20 golf simulators by ProTee United.

"This centre of excellence for golf will be the ultimate indoor golf experience," said CEO Jon Standing. "It offers state-of-theart, weather independent, recreational and professional training facilities, for professional players as well as for those who are relatively new to the game of golf.

We are currently involved in advanced talks and negotiations with a number of local councils regarding Indoor Golf Arena's future place of business."
