Construction of new course on Spain’s Costa del Sol reaches completion

The construction of a new golf course on the Spanish Costa del Sol is now complete.

The course at Doña Lucia Golf near Estepona has been designed by Global Golf Company.

Work got underway on the development of the course in mid-2016, with construction lead by Cadiz-based GTM Golf.

The course is grassed with Bermuda Riviera on its fairways, while Agrostis L93 XD features on the greens.

Following the completion of the construction phase, the grow in phase has now commenced.

It is hoped that the new course will be ready and available to play towards the end of 2018.
