Course renovations at TPC Sugarloaf given the green light
A series of renovations to the golf courses at TPC Sugarloaf near Atlanta, US, have been given the go-ahead.
Home to three nine-hole courses – the Meadows, Stables and Pines courses – all 27 holes at TPC Sugarloaf were originally designed by a team from Greg Norman Golf Course Design.
The greens, tees and fairways will be resurfaced as part of the work, and bunkers will be rebuilt across all three nines.
Other details of the work include the introduction of a new irrigation system, and new cart paths will be created.
As of yet, no architect has been hired for the project, but GCA has been informed that a decision regarding this would be made in due course.
The three nines will be worked on separately, meaning members will still be able to play an 18-hole round throughout the time renovation work is taking place.
