Course upgrades at Cottrell Park

The Cottrell Park golf resort in Wales has carried out a number of alterations to its two courses.

On the Button Gwinnett course, most of the greens complexes have been rebuilt, with the aim of improving drainage and adding to the effectiveness of the bunkering. The course’s new seventeenth green is now in play. A new green is planned on the course’s third hole, sited between two lakes adding 60 yards to its length.

Future projects include a new practice putting green close to the first tee of the Mackintosh course, a new competition tee on the Mackintosh’s thirteenth hole. The course’s irrigation system has also been overhauled.
