The Foundation is an international not-for-profit group, dedicated to helping a global golf community establish leadership in environmental enhancement, resource efficiency and community value.

Through the OnCourse set of programmes, GEO provides modern, practical sustainability solutions and credible recognition for facilities, tournaments, developments and course renovations globally.

OnCourse Facilities is an online guidance and reporting platform which enables facilities to record, improve and share their achievements. OnCourse Developments provides customised project support and streamlined reporting. From site selection to opening day, helping project planning and representing environmental and social value to governments and the wider community. OnCourse Tournaments supports tour organisers and host venues to minimise the events impact whilst maximising the positive legacy in the local community.

In addition to practical guidance and expert reporting, GEO Certified is a credible standard and certification mark recognising a facility, development or tournament which has shown commitment to sustainability. Assessed by an independent verifier and upholding the highest codes of good practice, this positive recognition is increasingly valuable to tours, federations, governments and members.
