Issue 44 of Golf Course Architecture is out now
Latest issue includes a discussion on fairness in golf and reports on Rees Jones’ new course in Mexico.
The idea of fairness in golf is a topic that has been debated for years. The lead story in issue 44 of Golf Course Architecture looks at whether golf needs to be fair to be good, and a number of golf course architects give their thoughts on the matter.
In the tee box section, we speak to Brian Curley about a new ten-course complex being created in Vietnam, and Drew Rogers discusses his work at Champion Trace GC in Lexington, Kentucky – a course close to the architect’s his heart.
Golfplan’s Jeff Danner provides his insight into the challenges facing public golf facilities, while Lee Strutt and Sharon Singleton-Bruce explain the importance of soil testing as they prepare for renovation work at the Royal Automobile Club in Surrey, England.
