Kemper to run Wisconsin muni

Course operator KemperSports has been appointed to manage Forest Hills Golf Club by the city of La Crosse in Wisconsin, USA. Built in 1901, the course is one of the oldest in the state.

“KemperSports brings more than 30 years experience in managing municipal golf courses and has specifically tailored its operating plan to Forest Hills and the city of La Crosse,” said Steven Carlyon, the city’s director of parks and recreation. ”We chose KemperSports because of the company's proven track record of improving course conditions, enhancing clubhouse facilities and golf programs, providing legendary customer service, sound financial management and the ability to develop a long-term strategic plan.”

“Forest Hills is a unique property with a great deal of history,” said Kemper CEO Steve Skinner. “We look forward to working with La Crosse to enhance the experience for local residents.”
