New Hilton resort includes Tibet’s first golf course

A nine-hole golf course has been created as part of the new Hilton Linzhi Resort in China’s Tibet Autonomous Region.

Designed by Henegan Golf Course Design Company, the course lies on a site between the Himalayas and the Yarlung Zangbo River.

The Linzhi Resort is Hilton’s first in the Tibet Autonomous Region, and lies about 50 km north of the region’s border with India.

At an altitude of 3,000 metres, the resort is accessible from the nearby Nyingchi Airport, which is located just 7km away.
