Golf design practice (re)Golf has entered into a new strategic alliance agreement with golf and environment specialists Steiner & Partner.

The new partnership will see (re)Golf’s designers provide consultancy services to Steiner & Partner. In return, Steiner & Partner will provide golf and environmental expertise for (re)Golf.

It is hoped that the alliance will help make it easier for both companies to meet the needs of clients from around the world.

“(re)GOLF’s professional approach to sustainable golf course design mirrors our own regenerative design philosophy and for us it is a perfect fit,” said Erich Steiner, principal at Steiner & Partner.

The new alliance is already proving fruitful, with conceptual plans being accepted for developments at the Golfpark Oberkirch and Golfpark Holzhäusern facilities in Switzerland. Design and construction budgets are currently being prepared for these projects, with work likely to commence in late summer 2015.

(re)GOLF’s Paul O’Brien said: “For us Steiner & Partner brings integrity, creativity and a comprehensive knowledge of sustainable golf course management to the table – characteristics which lead to sustainable, regenerative and species-appropriate golf course architecture.”
