Toro releases Reelmaster 3550-D

Toro has released its latest fairway mower the Toro Reelmaster 3550-D into the UK market.

The Reelmaster weighs 900kg, making it 15 to 20 per cent lighter than models of a similar ilk. This lightness enables greater fuel efficiency and is therefore cheaper to run.

Toro’s latest release features a 208 centimetre cutting width, and a 7 mph mowing speed, as well as turf-friendly tyres. The mower is suitable for links and heathland type courses, as well as sports field mowing, thanks to a kit to increase the height of the cut. Powered by a 25 horsepower Kubota diesel engine, the mower can climb hills whilst still running froomers and rear roller brushes. The Reelmaster also features a patented Series/Parallel three-wheel-drive system, enabling improved grip in wet and hilly conditions.

The Reelmaster 3550-D has as standard a 46 centimetre version of Toro’s Dual Precision Adjustment cutting units, providing a consistent and clean cut to fairways.
