Upgrades made to golf facilities at The Biltmore Hotel

A series of upgrades have been made to the golf facilities at The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Florida.

Home to an 18-hole course designed by Donald Ross, the work at the Biltmore includes upgrades to the practice areas, hitting stations and driving range.

The front tee’s practice area has been expanded from 15,000 sq ft to 22,000 sq ft, with 27 new artificial surface hitting stations offering rough, fairway and tee  level hitting also introduced.

Also included in the US$800,000 improvements is a new fleet 2014 Club Car electric passenger golf carts.

“We’re thrilled with the improvements we’ve made to our golf experience,” said Matthias Kammerer, managing director of the Biltmore Hotel. “These exciting improvements will enhance and complement our classic Donald Ross designed golf course and fulfill our ongoing vision of making The Biltmore Hotel golf experience one of the best in South Florida.”
