Fall 2021 issue of ASGCA’s By Design magazine is out now

The Fall 2021 issue of By Design magazine from the American Society of Golf Course Architects is now available in digital format.

For the cover story, Toby Ingleton asks golf course architects about how they prioritise aesthetics in golf course design, and whether this has changed with the rise of social media.

By Design also looks at the legacy of golfing pioneer Marion Hollins and the impact she had on the sport’s most famous courses.

There’s much more too, including: an article from Stephen Jubb of the National Alliance of Accessible Golf explaining how golf facilities can open up to those with disabilities; Scot Sherman provides insight into one of the sketches he prepared for the new Birdwood course at Boar’s Head Resort in Virginia; and news on projects in Mexico, Michigan and Austria.

By Design is free of charge – visit the By Design page of the ASGCA website to subscribe and review the back catalogue of digital editions.
