Oldfield Golf Club course reopens following renovation project
Oldfield Golf Club has reopened following a series of renovations led by Greg Norman Golf Course Design (GNGCD).
The course at the club in Bluffton, South Carolina, was originally designed by a team from GNGCD and opened in 2000.
The recent work has seen renovations to the course’s bunkering, as well as a number of strategic design changes to help modernise the course and boost playability.
“To return after all these years and see the original design intent still intact is a wonderful feeling and we are grateful for the opportunity to come back and update subtle design nuances to restore the course to its original form,” said Greg Norman. “Oldfield’s commitment to deliver excellent playing conditions to their members is remarkable and I am confident these renovations will provide continued enjoyment for years to come.”
