RTJ II returns to Tamarack to renovate Osprey Meadows

Robert Trent Jones Jr has returned to Tamarack Resort in Idaho to renovate several holes on his Osprey Meadows design.

Contractor Landscapes Unlimited has started construction work on the project, which aims to improve playability. The project will also see the creation of a new par-three nineteenth hole, dubbed ‘the Gambler’s hole’.

“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to reinvigorate the award-winning Osprey Meadows golf course at Tamarack,” said Jones. “The confidence that the Tamarack ownership has exhibited in the long-term value of this unique golf experience is unprecedented. We appreciate their vision and commitment!”

The project coincides with the development of new homesites. Aspen Glade, the first such real estate opportunity, is located alongside the fourth fairway.

“This is another historic moment at Tamarack,” said Scott Turlington, president at Tamarack. “It’s not often that you get a second chance to make a first impression, but we have that rare opportunity with the return of Osprey Meadows.”

A revamped driving range is expected to open later this summer with a grand opening of the course planned for summer 2023.
