Bunker renovation reaches completion at The Golf Club at Lansdowne

Greg Norman Golf Course Design has completed a bunker renovation project on the Norman Course at The Golf Club at Lansdowne in Leesburg, Virginia.

Originally designed by Greg Norman Golf Course Design, the Norman course opened in 2005. Chris Campbell from the firm, who originally directed the construction of the Norman Course alongside Jeff Danner, oversaw the recent project.

Bunkers have been regraded, reshaped and rebuilt to incorporate a technically advanced drainage system from Capillary Concrete, which will help minimise contamination and reduce maintenance.

“We are thrilled about Lansdowne’s continued commitment to upholding the quality, playability and functionality of the course,” said Greg Norman. “Our recent renovation of the Norman course has received high praise from the members and guests alike and we look forward to the continued enjoyment it will bring to the resort for years to come.”
