Countdown to 2016 HSBC Golf Business Forum begins

This year’s HSBC Golf Business Forum will take place at the Marriott Sawgrass Resort and Spa in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, from 28 November – 1 December 2016.

GCA is an official media partner for the event, which will feature a number of interesting panel sessions. Attendees will be able to hear from a range of keynote speakers and partake in networking sessions, as well as being able to play the TPC Sawgrass Stadium course on 1 December.

Mike McCarley, president of golf for NBC Sports Group, and Will McIntosh, senior vice president of business and strategy at NBC Sports Group, will be taking part in panel sessions. Golf Central host Rich Lerner will be in attendance, as will Morning Drive’s Cara Robinson and Fairways of Life’s Matt Adams, who will both moderate panels.

A number of companies from across the golf industry will also have a presence as event partners, including Arnold Palmer Design, Capillary Concrete, Colt McKenzie McNair, KPMG, Nicklaus Design, Troon Golf and Visit Scotland.

The event is also being endorsed by the European Tour, LPGA, PGA of America, PGA Tour, R&A, and the USGA.

“We’re delighted to have such influential media partners on board to help us showcase our first event in America to the world,” said Giles Morgan, global head of sponsorship and events at HSBC. “The strength of support from some of the most important media organisations from all corners of our industry underlines the event as golf’s premier meeting place and combined with the fascinating line-up of speakers, we’re excited to get going at Sawgrass in three weeks’ time.”
