KPMG heads to Gloria Resort

KPMG’s seventh annual Golf Business Forum will take place at the Gloria Resort in Turkey, 12-14 May, with special guest Greg Norman scheduled to attend.

The event will focus especially on Turkey, Brazil, Russia, India and China, and will be moderated by CNN International’s Justin Armsden - presenter of the weekly Living Golf show.

“The Golf Business Forum brings together leading players from the golf, real estate, finance and tourism sectors in the EMA region and has become the most important event to meet and do business,” said Andrea Sartori, head of KPMG’s specialist Golf Advisory Practice in EMA. “We are very excited that it is being hosted in Turkey in 2010 as this is a fast emerging golf destination that has everything going for it – high quality golf courses, a desirable climate, natural beauty and outstanding value.

“The Turkish Golf Federation also has ambitious plans to add more than 100 golf courses in the next 10-15 years and with recent changes to property laws regarding overseas ownership and potential future entry into the European Union, the development prospects for Turkey are extremely good. I believe this is set to be the best Golf Business Forum yet.”
