Renovations at Falcon’s Fire

Falcon's Fire Golf Club, a Rees Jones signature golf course in Florida, has successfully completed a number of renovations.

The recent enhancements include new greens, which were resurfaced with TifEagle bermudagrass, the reshaping of bunkers, the installation of an improved greens irrigation and drainage system and the overseeding of the entire golf course.

Marriott Golf has assumed management of the course and will oversee all aspects of the club operation, including golf course maintenance, instructional programs, food and beverage services and overall golf programming. To fall in line with Marriott's commitment to environmental stewardship, Falcon's Fire will pursue certification through the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Programme. Steve Schaller has also been named general manager at Falcon’s Fire.

"Falcon's Fire has been a favourite of travellers and locals since it opened in 1993, and the recent facelift, highlighted by restoring the greens to original specifications, will allow Falcon's Fire to once again restore its rightful place as the best place to play in Central Florida," said Schaller.

Falcon's Fire Golf Club stretches nearly 7,000 yards from the tips and has received multiple awards, including a four star rating from Golf Digest.
