US club undergoes a renaissance

Design firm Tom Hoch has completed interior design work at the new clubhouse at Renaissance Golf Club in Haverhill, Massachusetts.

The company crafted and installed all furniture, fixtures and equipment for the three-story, 30,000 square-foot clubhouse

“Tom Hoch offers a unique approach to every design project,” said Greg Sherwood, vice president of Southworth Golf Management. “Tom and his staff have created an inspiring, timeless interior that exemplifies the classical style and is in concert with our brand strategy for Renaissance Golf Club.”

“The story and character behind this golf club makes it a fascinating, high-energy project,” said Hoch.

The main level features a Grille Room and lounge, ballroom, a private dining/boardroom, living room, billiards room and a three-season veranda.

The lower level includes the men’s and ladies’ locker rooms, a fitness facility, massage rooms, two golf simulators for indoor practice and lessons, administrative offices and a business centre for Renaissance members. The upper level will feature eight uniquely designed club rooms members and guests.

Located on Boston’s North Shore, the private club features a 7,161-yard, par-72 Brian Silva golf course with practice facilities including a short game area with multiple green complexes, a practice fairway and a practice green.
