A new issue of By Design magazine, from the American Society of Golf Course Architects, is now available in digital format.

In a special report to mark 75 years of the ASGCA, By Design invited golf course architects to highlight key aspects of golf course architecture that will endure for the next 75 years. Designed for life sees ASGCA members speak on topics crucial to the profession, such as sustainability, changing lifestyles, creative thinking and welcoming new players to golf.

Also in this 75 Years Special Report issue, By Design also profiles the group of designers that formed the ASGCA in 1947 as well as the winners of the Donald Ross Award, the ASGCA’s highest honour, which is presented annually to those who have made significant and lasting contributions to the profession of golf course architecture.

There are also listings of ASGCA members, ASGCA publications and the Society’s Annual Meeting locations.

By Design is free of charge – visit the By Design page of the ASGCA website to subscribe and review the back catalogue of digital editions.
