Des Moines Club to renovate nine holes

The Des Moines Golf and Country Club will conduct major renovations on nine of the eighteen holes on the club’s North Course, with work set to begin on August 19.

Designed by Pete Dye, the North Course will close holes one to five and holes fifteen to eighteen so improvements, can take place.

The renovation work will include replacing or rearranging of all bunkers and a complete renovation of 20 tee boxes and two greens.

The South Course will remain open during the work, providing golfers with a total of 27 holes still available for play.
