The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip course opens for preview play

The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip course in Vietnam has opened for preview play.

Designed by Greg Norman’s firm and located on the country’s south-central coast, the course is routed over and around coastal sand dunes. Two hours from Vietnam’s capital Ho Chi Minh City, Norman previously compared the site’s quality and character to that of Doonbeg in Ireland.

Golfers can play the course for US$100 during the preview phase. This is approximately half the expected greens fees once the course has its grand opening later this year.

“This course has all the elements necessary to be ranked among the best in the world,” said Ben Styles, general manager of The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip. “It’s golf in its purest, most traditional links form, in a setting that has no rival.”

Once fully complete, The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip will include a 2,300 sq m clubhouse and a driving range with more than 3,000 sq m of practice and training facilities.
