For the past 25 years, Laurence Lambrecht has photographed golf courses all over the world, including in Australasia, South Africa, the United Kingdom, South America, Mexico, the Caribbean, Canada and the United States.
His work has been featured in numerous periodicals, golf calendars and coffee table books, including his 2003 book, Emerald Gems – The Links of Ireland, which features photographs of every links on the Irish Coast. Lambrecht has also been called upon to document the course and staff of many clubs for their history books, including Saucon Valley CC, Peachtree GC, Westchester CC, Gulf Stream, Yeamans Hall, McArthur, Shelter Harbor GC and Kittansett Club, to name a few.
“As a golfer and artist, I choose the perspective of the architect's plan for playing the hole, capturing the hole as you play it and remember it,” says Lambrecht. “Through careful scouting and evaluation, I am able to photograph each course I experience and deliver the photos a client expects.”
Lambrecht uses state of the art camera equipment, software and also has a DJI Drone, which is certified to use by the FAA.
