Greenscan 3D is an Emmy-award-winning firm that provides high-definition laser scanning and computer 3D modelling of golf courses, specialising in putting surface, slope analysis and replication. Scott Pool won the Emmy for technical achievement in 2008 for his role in creating the Golf Channel’s AimPoint virtual putting-line technology and pioneered laser scanning for the golf industry in 2003. The firm provides full-course drone topography, and grade control for restoring and renovating golf greens via its scanning and modelling services. It also provides visualisation of surface modifications including titling surfaces and variable depth subgrade, as well as machine-control grading, which can be used for master planning.
