MasterGolf International is an international golf course design practice known for creating more than 80 high quality golf courses over the last 30 years. The company is directed by founder and principal architect Bruno M. M. A. Steensels, who is an OAB-chartered civil architect and an EICGA-certified golf course architect. As a former member of the Belgian National Team and national champion, Steensels has played golf for more than 40 years in both national and international amateur tournaments. The practice takes pride in its commitment, professionalism, attention to detail and its pursuit of excellence. It aims to design and create strategic golf links, which work in harmony with the existing natural surroundings. MasterGolf International also works in close collaboration with signature designers such as Ian Woosnam, who worked with the company on The International golf course in Amsterdam. The course, which was credited as the country’s best golf course in 2012, has hosted the Ladies and Seniors Dutch Open from 2013 to 2015, and hosted the European PGA Dutch Open 2019.
