The event, which will be held in Abu Dhabi from the 28-30 April, will have a greater focus on innovation in the golf industry, as experts from around the world discuss how the game will evolve in the 21st century.

Taking place at the Westin Abu Dhabi Golf Resort & Spa, the Forum will see leading industry figures participate in panels, deliver presentations and carry out thought leadership sessions on topics such as digital technology, data analytics and customer behaviour.

Confirmed speakers at the eleventh edition of the event include Antony Scanlon, the executive director of the International Golf Federation, Dana Garmany, Troon’s chairman and CEO, and Barney Francis, the managing director of Sky Sports. Also participating will be the National Golf Foundation’s CEO Joe Beditz and BBC Sport golf commentator Andrew Cotter.

With a course designed by Peter Harradine, the Abu Dhabi Golf Club held the recent Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship. The Golf Business Forum provides attendees with ample opportunity to sample the golf facilities in the region. The event also provides delegates with the opportunity to play the nearby course at Yas Links Golf Club, designed by Kyle Phillips.

More information on the event and a full list of the announced speakers so far can be found on the HSBC Golf Business Community website.
