De Simone Golf Design is the golf architecture company of Pierfrancesco De Simone. He is based in Italy and has projects both in Europe and Africa.
The design firm provides golf course development services, including masterplanning, authorisation documents, detail construction drawings and construction supervision.
De Simone started his career in Scotland with a joint venture with golf architect Ronnie Lumsden and designing golf courses in Italy for the Costantino Rocca Golf Design firm. Pierfrancesco is an engineer, graduated with a MSc in golf architecture at the University of Edinburgh, is a member of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects and is listed on the EIGCA Sustainable Design Register.
The design philosophy of De Simone is to create great golf courses that are sustainable, provide a wonderful playing experience, and integrate with the landscape and heritage of the land.
